Short one tonight

It was a real up and down day for me today. It’s late so Im not sure how long this blog will be. I had a good morning but the afternoon for some reason…I was just zapped. I was absolutely unproductive. Im so much more efficient when I have a lot to do. But since we finished all three productions everything came to a screeching halt. Maybe I just needed to re-energize or something. I tried to be productive but it was like I was just moving in slow motion. I got better towards the late afternoon. Then even more productive in the evening. We had a meeting for our Funniest Person in Bahrain contest. Im so proud of crew because they are proud of their association with me. We are becoming quite popular. They have done a nice big write up about us in FACT magazine and we are going in the main paper tomorrow. So we have a growing fan base. I think this sort of thing would be popular in Los Angeles too. Maybe Im onto something here.

There are a lot of really big things happening. Im not at liberty to go into all the detail right now, but in the next week or so I think I’ll be able to do so. Please again continue to keep in your prayers. I’ll have more to say tomorrow Im sure.

 Well, I'm back on this blog after being away for 12 years.  I thought those 12 years away were happy years, at least they were from my perspective.  But they were not from the point of view of my wife.  I come back to this spot a broken and humble man.  My life is experiencing a low point of which I've only experienced one other point before. Divorce rates in India

What a great great great day I had. Why was it great? Im not really sure. Nothing very consequential happened. Its just that I feel like God’s hand is on my every move. I know there are tons of people out there praying for me. That is such a great feeling. I feel like Im on the spiritual war front lines. So you might have noticed that I was really down. But then, the clouds parted and the oppression lifted, really for no reason at all. Im so full of hope and joy right now. I told Jennifer this earlier, but I’ve never been so sure that she’s the girl for me then at this precise moment. A lot of people don’t understand this. Everyone says take it slow. Well…I did take it slow the first time around in marriage, a three-year courtship and engagement, and look how that turned out. So taking it slow isn’t always the way. Day 4.5 An Arabic Strip Bar

Let me preface this that in my motel the only place i can get internet access is the lobby. So i write these blogs in there. The night before I noticed quite a few Saudi's going into what looked like a club. You can tell they were Saudi's because their gutra (headpiece) was red checkered, which is distinctive in only Saudi Arabia. All others wear white...with the exception of maybe Palestine where they are black checked (think Yasser Arafat). So I was curious. So tonight when I was writing in the Blog, there was a Bahranian also in the lobby smoking, drinking, and talking loudly on his cell phone. Arabs are standoffish at first, but once you make the first move in terms of communication they are extremely friendly and hospitable. But again, you have to initiate the conversation.
